About us

We are Luciano and Regina with our two girls from Switzerland, serving in mission since 2020. With experience across Africa and Central America, we bring backgrounds in healthcare, counselling, debriefing, as well as engineering and farming.Over the years, we have been involved in discipleship, member care, and sustainable development work.In this time, we have seen both the beauty and the challenges people face in the field. What started with people coming to us for processing and member care has grown into a clear calling to now offer this as a dedicated place of debriefing, rest, and recovery. At the same time, God has placed on our hearts a continued burden for developing nations, to share the Gospel and provide simple, practical, and sustainable solutions that bring lasting change. Therefore, we offer training for those serving in these nations, to equip them with tools that serve both spiritual and practical needs.

Finca Elohim

Finca Elohim is a place of restoration- emotionally, spiritually, and physically.A peaceful oasis in God’s creation where people can step back, process, recover, and gain new perspective.“Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.” -Mark 6,31The garden also provides fresh, homegrown food for our guests, while serving as an inspiration and hands-on training space for sustainable living and regenerative practices. Rooted in biblical principles, we train missionaries, development workers, and local leaders in simple sustainability- so they can carry these tools into their own contexts and create lasting impact, while also using them as a practical expression of the Gospel, especially in developing contexts.“Let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.” 1 John 3,18Together, we are planting hope- creating a place where people and creation can flourish.Your partnership helps make this vision tangible and sustainable.

The Santos family serves with heart, hands, and dedication- creating spaces of care, restoration, and hope. They are pioneering Finca Elohim while serving in member care and debriefing for missionaries from around the world. In this foundational season, they are also building networks, gaining practical experience, and developing training in sustainability and holistic care.Their heart is to see people restored and strengthened- especially those whose hearts feel weighed down- so they can return to their calling with renewed clarity and resilience. They also equip people with practical tools for life and mission, including organic gardening, sustainable living, and simple technologies that support self-sufficiency and open doors for practical expressions of the Gospel, especially in developing contexts. At the core of everything is a simple desire- to serve, to strengthen, and to point people to the hope found in Jesus.Through one-time giving or monthly partnership, you become part of enabling this work, helping sustain a holistic ministry that brings care, restoration, and practical support with lasting Kingdom impact.

Rest and Recovery

Rest and Recovery

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."

- Matthew 11,28

This is a place for those who need a change of scenery, a pause from everyday demands, or a quiet space to simply step back and breathe. It is open for individuals as well as families who long for a slower rhythm of life.A place for those who long to spend intentional time with God- to listen, to pray, or to rediscover peace in His presence. And also for those who simply need to get away for a moment- without pressure, without expectations, and with the freedom to do nothing at all.Surrounded by nature and simplicity, life slows down here. There is space to rest deeply and to let the heart come to peace again. Whether you walk through the landscape, sit in silence, or spend time in reflection, you are invited to come as you are and recover at your own pace.Finca Elohim is a place to find rest in His presence.

Debriefing

Debriefing

"As they were talking and processing what had happened, Jesus himself came and walked with them."

-Luke 24,15

Some experiences leave a deeper imprint. After intense seasons or life-changing moments, things often continue to echo within us- thoughts, emotions, questions that do not simply disappear with time.At Finca Elohim, debriefing offers a safe space to pause and bring these inner realities into the light. Structured debriefings are available for individuals as well as couples. There is no pressure to have everything figured out. Instead, there is room to slow down, to listen, and to gently give words to what has remained unspoken. When difficult experiences are carried without being processed, they can begin to weigh heavily on the heart and mind. For some, this becomes overwhelming and leads to exhaustion or breaking under the weight. For others, taking time to process brings clarity, healing, and a renewed strength- often even a deeper resilience when stepping back into the mission field. We do not rush toward answers. We allow space for truth to surface and for clarity to emerge in an atmosphere of grace.Jesus often meets us on the way- not after everything is resolved, but in the middle of the process.Like the disciples on the road to Emmaus, they walked with questions, disappointment, and hope that feels uncertain.Even when they did not recognize him, he was present- listening, speaking, and gently opening a new way of seeing.“Were not our hearts burning within us while he talked with us on the road and opened the Scriptures to us?” -Luke 24,32Debriefing at Finca Elohim is a space of exchange, restoration, and reorientation- where what has been carried can be laid down, and where Jesus is encountered again in the midst of the journey.

Organic Gardening and Training

Organic Gardening and Training

"The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it."

-Genesis 2,15

Finca Elohim provides its retreat guests with fresh, nutrient-rich, homegrown food- a central part of our holistic approach to rest, recovery, and sustainable living. What grows here is not only nourishment, but also a reflection of care, quality, and intentional stewardship. The south of Spain is known for its challenging agricultural conditions. Dry, depleted soils, large monocultures, and the long-term use of chemical inputs have caused significant damage to the land, leaving many areas close to infertility. In response, we are cultivating the land in a different way- organic, regenerative, and resource-oriented, rooted in biblical principles. By restoring soil fertility and fostering a diverse and healthy ecosystem, we seek to bring creation back into balance and demonstrate sustainable alternatives. At the same time, the garden serves as a place of training and empowerment. We equip missionaries and interested individuals from around the world through hands-on experience with the land. From seed to harvest, participants learn how healthy food is grown, how natural resources can be stewarded wisely, and how practical self-sufficiency can become part of sustainable mission work. This goes beyond knowledge transfer. Our desire is to empower people as multipliers- carrying both spiritual and practical tools into their own communities, projects, and mission fields. In this way, the Gospel is expressed not only in words, but also in practical care for people’s physical needs, dignity, and daily life. For many, the garden also becomes a space of restoration. Those who find it difficult to sit still or process internally are invited into simple, grounding tasks- harvesting, feeding animals, working with the soil. In this rhythm, activity and reflection come together, creating space for healing while the hands are engaged.Working with the land also opens a deeper understanding of God’s character. His creativity, faithfulness, care, and provision are reflected in the rhythms of nature and the abundance of what the earth produces.Finca Elohim is a place that inspires and equips, nourishing both
people and purpose for life and mission.
